changing tail volume coefficient isn’t a great solution as even with large variations in the size (it progressively looks funnier) (see below)
the right distance to get the neutral point correct hasn’t dramatically changed.
so I really need to afford at least 35 in. (1.5 ft) between the main wing and the empennage
but at the same time, NLG to MLG distance remains a cozy 24in.
so the fuselage is at least around 60 in but that’s the bare minimum!!
obviously nose will need to be longer than that too.
as it currently stands the wingspan is 53in. only, so regardless the fuselage will have to be longer than the wingspan
if nlg is to be placed at the first bulkhead, our nose would need to be even longer
waiting for wing mass estimation code maybe that will help a bit
