During the preliminary design phase, existing aircraft serve as key references and provide a foundation for developing new concepts. For this task, review previous AMAT aircraft as well as designs from other teams. Record the year of each design, summarize the corresponding RFP, and document the configuration of each substructure (Fuselage, wing, empennage, landing gear), wing airfoil, and horizontal and vertical stabilizer airfoils. Collect dimensional data such as fuselage length, wingspan, empty weight, MTOW, and, if available, the weight of each substructure and component. Include links to CAD models or drawings. Finally, note the motor used, the motor power, and thrust-to-weight ratio for each design.
