Collect Motor Data from Potential Vendors:

• Scorpion Motors
• Hacker Motors

Look for motors that take 6s/22.2V

Collect their

• MASS (g, then convert to slugs)
• cont. current (A)
• maximum current (A)
• continuous power (W)
• max. cont. power (W)
• kV
• note the recommended ESC rating if any

can help with search to look for roughly 1000W motor. not sure on that yet.

better yet, some of them have thrust data (e.g. T-motor has test data), just a hunch maybe look for 4.5-6kg thrust (10-15 lbs thrust?) and note down their prop combinations.

these test thrust data provide a nice reference in addition to the thrust tests we will be performing ourselves.
